SFAC Welcome Letter

To Our Soldier Family Members

I would like to introduce you to the Soldier and Family Assistance Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. By now your Soldier has in-processed the SFAC and has been informed of the numerous services available. I realize it is hard to know who to talk to or who to call about questions you have as you are dislocated from your Soldier during this time of transition and healing. As the SFAC works diligently to assist your Soldier in their transition, we also want to be a resource for you during this time.

You will be receiving a call from the Social Services Coordinator informing you about resources we can offer you over the phone. They can be reached at 253-966-3979 if you have any emergent needs. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Please don’t hesitate to call the Information and Referral Coordinator at 253-966-2564 with questions or concerns regarding the care of your Soldier or your family’s status. The SFAC staff will work directly with you to address your needs.

Again, I welcome you on behalf of the Warrior Transition Battalion and the Soldier and Family Assistance Center located at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. Please visit our Web Site for more information about the center and more ways we may be of assistance to you.

Sincerely,

JACQUELINE SEABROOK
Soldier and Family Assistance Center
Director
