SUBSTANCE ABUSE REHABILITATION DEPARTMENT (SARD)

The Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Department is the clinical treatment
component of the Army Substance Abuse Program.  SARD-ASAP is a Washington State Department of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (DASA) certified agency.

Clinical Services & Mission Statement:

Counseling and therapy for individuals experiencing difficulties with alcohol and/or drugs.

The ASAP is a multi-disciplinary organization which utilizes a team approach to:

  Strengthen the fighting force
Advocate quality care through assessment, education,
    treatment, and aftercare
Ensure professional services as a liaison for commanders,
   soldiers, family members, and retirees.

Eligibility

The following are eligible for the services of the ASAP:
  Active Duty Military
  Retirees
  Adult family members of the above
  Department of the Army Civilians
