The Madigan Army Medical Center Department of Pediatrics offers comprehensive pediatric medical care to dependents of
active duty military members and retirees from birth to 23 years of age. The department offers a wide range of general
pediatric and subspecialty services in the outpatient clinics, as well as inpatient, mother and baby, and NICU wards.
Madigan
is also home to a nationally recognized Pediatric Residency Program and a
Developmental Pediatric Fellowship which provide the highest standard of
education to all residents, medical students, and other trainees who participate
in its various programs.
The department has an enrollment of 16,000 patients and averages more than 60,000 outpatient visits per year.
In addition, there are approximately 1,000 inpatient admissions and 2,000 births and 400 NICU admissions per year.
We serve over 37,000 dependents in the Western Regional Medical Command and as
consultants to family practice and secondary hospitals.
