Mission & Programs

Madigan Consolidated Education (MCED) is a  resource for all hospital education, training and staff development, excluding Graduate Medical Education.  Founded in 1994, MCED centralized a variety of educational programs into one convenient location:

MCED manages and coordinates activities that promote the readiness level and provides educational opportunities for the Western Regional Medical Command (WRMC) that include:  .

  • Life Support Classes:  BLS, ACLS & PALS

  • Nursing Courses:  Perioperative, Anesthesia & Critical Care

  • Staff Development, Orientation & Mandatory Annual Training

  •  Nursing Education (Courses, Contact Hours, etc)

  • Readiness Medical Training for Medics, Special Forces Medics, EMTs, Medical Proficiency Training (MPT) & Pre-Hospital Trauma

  • Phase II AMEDD LPN, Enlisted & Civilian Training Programs

  • International Military Students:  DOD/State Department/OTSG Security Assistance Training Program

  • External Education Liaison:  On-Line/Distance, CPAC, EAP, POSH & leadership training
