This flu season, Madigan will only be offering the injectable influenza vaccine. Per the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we will not be offering the intranasal vaccine
(FluMist).

Patients wanting to receive the flu vaccine have several options.

Beneficiaries can receive the flu vaccine from a TRICARE participating vaccinating pharmacy. To find a participating TRICARE pharmacy in your area, log on to www.tricare.mil/flu or call 1-877-363-1303 and select option 5. We recommend that you call the pharmacy to confirm their services beforehand.

Active Duty personnel can also obtain their flu vaccine at a TRICARE participating vaccinating pharmacy. The service member must obtain a proof of vaccination indicating lot number and vaccination type in order to update MEDPROS.

Madigan patients may also contact their primary care team for updates on clinic supply.
