Command Sgt. Maj. David Rogers relinquishes his responsibilities as senior enlisted advisor to Lt. Col. Ralph Deatherage.

Madigan said goodbye to Command Sgt. Maj. David Rogers, Madigan Troop Battalion Command Sergeant Major during a Relinquishment of Responsibility Ceremony on January 4. Held in the Keeler Gym next to Madigan Annex, staff came to say goodbye to Rogers who is being reassigned to the 62nd Medical Brigade and deploying to Afghanistan next month. "Spending the last three years at Madigan was truly rewarding," Rogers said. "Thank you to the civilian and military staff that make Madigan what it is--Care with Compassion!" Rogers filled in as acting Madigan Command Sergeant Major frequently during his tenure at Madigan. Replacing Rogers is Master Sgt. Michael Fetzer, who will serve in an acting capacity until the summer. "The 62nd Medical Brigade truly does not know how fortunate they are to have a consummate professional like Sgt. Maj. David Rogers," said Madigan Troop Battalion Commander, Lt. Col. Ralph Deatherage.
