The Madigan-Puyallup Community Medical Home participated in the 4th Annual Bike-A-Thon hosted by Rainier Family Physical Therapy in Puyallup on Saturday, October 6. Team Madigan-Puyallup pedaled for BRIDGES, which is a family grief support center serving families with children 4 years to 18 years old who have experienced the death of a parent or sibling with peer support groups that are facilitated by trained volunteers that meet twice a month. BRIDGES supports military families on a regular basis. The Madigan-Puyallup Community Medical Home participation was a way to support a local program in the community and provided a forum for Team Madigan-Puyallup to establish closer relationships with surrounding organizations. Madigan-Puyallup nurse, Ms Alice Anderson was the team's leader.
