We are a non-profit, volunteer organization that supports Madigan Healthcare System, DENTAC, Veterinary Services, the US Army Medical Command Community and the greater Joint Base Lewis McChord community. HSA is not affiliated with the Department of the Army nor is it supported by taxpayer dollars.

As a member and volunteer you become a part of the life force of our organization; an essential cornerstone of the military community. Through community service we insure the continuation of an Army that supports a higher quality of life. Volunteers receive more in the act of helping others than they give!

Volunteering is therapeutic, providing the pleasure of interacting with others. Spending time in your communities offers opportunities to maintain skills and learn new ones, as well as increasing your confidence and self-esteem. Military service usually requires geographic relocation every two to three years. The Health Services Auxiliary provides monthly opportunities to socialize with planned monthly events that include a welcome coffee, visits to local museums, presentations, a winter holiday cookie exchange, parties, Bunko, a kid’s night and our popular annual early Spring event, raising the majority of our welfare money, the Basket Auction!
